US planes isn't the best option any more

With a super premium price tag, sacrificing everything for stealth.  I strongly believes F35 is useless for Singapore requirement (unless they are getting a flat top)

F15SG is more suited for attacking role. We shouldn't be getting another jet that is jack of all trades but master of none. The price per plane of F35 is just too expensive and the stealth it promises is not proven. A price too big to bet on unproven platform.

Su57/PAK-FA may offer an alternative of Singapore getting a 5th generation jet. It is build for air superiority role which I presume only the F22 can win her.

From the net that if the avionics and radar is similar to SU-35, it is worth taking a look. If Singapore is looking into prudent spending, stop letting the US monopolize our planes. The F15SG and even the lowly armed F35 can't defend our sky. We can't use quantity to overcome their inferiority with those looming price tags.

Everything is Singapore is rising, except the pay which never keeps up. Stop increasing the tax to booster the budget.
